EDI has been providing soil consulting services since 1977. Our projects involve all facets of the development community including residential, commercial, institutional, utility, energy and environmental projects. Our drilling services range from geotechnical sampling and soil classification to environmental sampling, well installation and residential services. We currently have 2 certified well drillers on staff. Our drilling equipment includes several truck and all-terrain rigs.
About Drilling Services
EDI has been providing wetland and ecological services since 1989 and has performed thousands of wetland delineations in Upstate New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio ranging in size from less than one acre to approximately 6,000 acres. Ecological services range from wetland delineations and investigations to permitting, wetland mitigation design and monitoring, and ecological surveys. We have an outstanding working relationship with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC).

EDI is fully insured and meets or exceeds the requirements for utility, municipal, and hazardous work. We maintain a rigorous Health & Safety Program that includes project specific training as well as regular required OSHA training, medical screening, and surveillance. We create project specific Health & Safety Plans with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) upon request.
